Celebrating Canada 150 and Our Feature in the Ottawa Citizen
July 1st 2017 was a proud day for all Canadians as our country turned 150 years old. We were honoured to be part of the Canada 150 edition of the Ottawa Citizen with a feature about the innovative and environmental benefits of prefab homes.
“A few months ago, residents in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood noticed that a brand new home had appeared in their neighbourhood over the course of an afternoon. Many of them had left for work first thing in the morning, passing the empty lot on Clarey Avenue. However, when they returned, something had changed. The empty lot now held a 2,100 square foot two-storey home with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a rooftop patio. And it blended in, as if it had always been there.”
